Happy Friday everyone! I’m headed off to Dayton today (after two days in New York this week) to celebrate one of my dear friend’s wedding! Before signing off (and switching into full Matron of Honor duties) I wanted to share three favorites from the week.
Menagerie Rifle Paper Co Collection
So you all know it was a Rifle Paper Co themed week around here. We started with a #MeMadeMonday Hadley Top in the new rayon + lawn blend from Cotton and Steel. Wednesday was full of the new Finch Box which featured fat quarters from the Menagerie collection. Today we have to round out the week with a recap of all those and the new collection definitely made my Friday Favorites! I ordered all the rayons and can’t wait to dig into them. I also want to try out making my first quilt with the fabric too – any suggestions for a newbie quilter?
Weekender Bags
I seem to be doing a lot of weekend trips or a few days trip this time of year. This month I’ve been in Orlando, New York and Dayton and it’s only the middle of the month! Weekender bags are my favorite to take on the plane and are the perfect pair to my new Super Tote or Handmade Tote Bag. I usually avoid taking a roller bag on board because I get nervous they’re going to gate check them and I hate putting them in the overhead bins! Looking for some good sewing entertainment for the weekend? This new documentary was so good! My husband and I watched it last weekend and I don’t think I fully grasped the whole Princess Diana/Prince Charles story before. It is so worth watching! It’s available on Hulu and probably on the ABC app (or on demand) as well!
